JPS Kindergarten and Primary school was founded by Nedwa Share Company (Group of parents in 2019 E.C in Jigjiga City to be a center for high quality holistic education in Ethiopia. The school’s Mission is to make its students academically efficient , Socially mature, Morally responsible , technology well informed and physically fit and productive citizens for Somali Region in particular and Ethiopian development in general. JP School’s core values are teamwork , cooperation , transparency and commitment. Since its establishment, the school has been safe and secure environment for its students by constructing state of the art ground plus four building and clean campus. Effective from September 2015.E.C the school set to launch its high school in 2016 E.C as part of secondary school expansion project. As of 2014E.C the school has got above 60 staff. 1.2 JPS SCHOOL REVIEWED STRATEGIC PLANNING A strategic plan is a blueprint for institutions and a road map for development. It helps in deciding objectives both in quantitative and qualitative terms. It is the setting of goals on the basis of objectives and keeping in view the resources available to achieve those goals in a given time frame. In JP schools’ case, SP provides tactic and strategy for prudent management of scarce resources for optimal achievement of goals with five years ( From 2019 to 2025). In view of the above, this document is the JP SCHOOLS’ Strategic Plan for the period from September 2015E.C to September 2019E.C. The Planning Session and document was structured to transfer information and knowledge to the participants, to enhance understanding of team-work and communication. Furthermore, to specifically indicate, implementation process, a tactic of planning, monitoring, and evaluation. JP SCHOOLS’ Strategic plan is committed to the implementation of participatory methods throughout the short but broad discussion forums. This SP was therefore developed in a participatory and consultative process by involving in SWOT Analyses a few selected parents, the school management team BOARD members , one managing director, teachers and one member of the school admin. This SP is a detailed activity plan, so it serves as a frame, stating goals and objectives for the facilities and departments sections, for the period stated above. It is understood and expected that the individual facility and departmental section heads have their specific detailed activity plans derived from the SP which they will implement, monitor and evaluate after the workshop. Therefore, the SP outlined under provides careful planning of activities, assignment of qualified human resources and availing of material resources. The outcomes planned need timely implementation, monitoring, and evolution.
